Ski Boots and Bathing Suits offers up a playful reminder not to take time so seriously--- life is meant to be silly and sweet: embrace it! This home was designed for fun! Delight in the beautiful ambiance created by cathedral ceilings, cozy fireplaces, and bright, sunlit interiors. When the urge for adventure strikes, head outside to explore! Your hot tub is just outside the door, as are a host of community amenities like the home’s lake access point, community dock slip, and nearby tennis courts. Plus, with Wisp Resort located just across the street, you always have access to the four-season offerings of this superb resort, like skiing, mountain biking, zip lining, and more! Ski Boots and Bathing Suits is the perfect choice a gathering among family and friends!

ACCESS DETAILS:
Approximately .3 miles to Wisp Lodge Ticket Window with access to all slopes. Distance includes walk out of community, across Marsh Hill Road and through Wisp parking area. Slope availability does vary throughout the season. View Wisp Resort trail map here. Lake Access is located at the common access point in the northeast corner of the development. This is located across from our property Rapture. All other areas in the Lake Pointe Community are prohibited. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

While the house is older compared to the ones around it, it suited us just fine. I’m not a horribly picky person, so the fact that the inside is a little dated, didn’t really bother me at all. I know from reading other reviews, that was a complaint. Maybe another, full size refrigerator downstairs? One with an automatic ice maker? But overall it was a great house, great location, and the fact that it had it’s own boat slip was great. But man was it a haul walking down to it each time. Hey I got my steps in though!

Convenient to Wisp and McHenry, nice neighborhood, quiet. There's access to a boat dock but nowhere to swim near the property. The furnishings and kitchen supplies could use some updating, but overall it was fine for our family gathering.

Nice house that works well

This house is in pretty decent shape, although it won't wow you once inside. The soaring family room is nice and it has the amenities in demand (pool table, foosball, hot tub, wifi), but the unit's decorations feel a little out of date. The location is great for easy access to Wisp. Our only real complaint was the hot water heater is too small for a house with that many bedrooms, so if everyone wants to shower at the same time, there will be a lot of cold showers. So plan accordingly! But overall, it worked well for our brief ski vacation.

Great location….and that’s about it for the positives. This house is very outdated. Peeling paint in then bathroom, linoleum floor is peeling up, not enough silverware for all of us to eat with, musty/moldy smell throughout the lower level, horrible mattresses, dusty throughout the house, laundry room needed cleaned. This house has great potential but needs some serious updating.

We had so much fun staying here. The house is cozy and comfortable. We had some glitches with the cable and air but it was fixed within an hour. The service of the Reality is amazing! Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at the house. It had a cozy feel and a great location. My only complaint was that we found a ton of ants on the property.

Overall, the pictures do not do this property justice it is certainly an older property with an older feel. Most of the furniture is due for an upgrade and the house could use a very good cleaning and dusting. Beds had crumbs and showed lack of a recent clean. Downstairs game area and hot tub were a good addition to the place. Overall did not compare to surrounding properties.

A cute little cabin that is a one minute drive or a short walk to Wisp Resort! Hot tub, pool table and foosball table were great amenities. Cabin provided all necessary cooking items (except it was a couple forks short of 12). Overall, it was a great cabin and would rent from Railey again.

Overall we had a great stay. Very open and spacious. we had a group of 8 and it worked out out that every couple was able to have their own bathroom. The house had all of the proper Kitchen appliances and utensils. They have both a gas and charcoal grill that came in handy. The mattresses aren't the greatest but bareable for a short stay. I would recommend you bring trash bags, they do not supply extra trash bags. Also, bring extra toilet paper for large groups. (Reviewed on AIrbnb)

We had a fun stay. There was plenty of space. Things needed updated (mattresses and kitchen utensils and a bigger skillet).

Great floor plan. Particularly like the open floor plan where kitchen, dining area and living room areas were visually connected. Nice spacious living area with outcove area for separate conversations etc, if desired.. Ample bathroom space and convenient location.

Ski boots and bathing suits was a wonderful place to stay! my family loved this house and the neighborhood! It is a perfect distance to the ski resort and we had a great boat dock on the lake. Deep Creek lake was such a beautiful place to bring my family, so many fun things to do!
