A Winter View is the quaint chalet that offers exceptional architectural details with wood accent beams all throughout the home. The huge yard and low traffic road offers a great place for the whole family to hang out and relax. Spend your days enjoying the sun on the deck and your evenings around the fire listening to the sounds of nature. Cook dinner on the grill and eat around the huge craft wood dining table. This cozy chalet is great for those who want to be tucked away from the busier streets but still close to everything. The lake and all the adventures it holds is just a short drive away!

Perfect location to everything and living space. Everything was there what we needed - games for family and kids, gas cooktop, size of the property, yard and deck, security, cleanliness are things that we most liked. We have a 4WD, so driving to the property was not difficult, but like some others said, if you have a rear wheel drive it could be a bit challenging I guess. Mattress and pillows are on the softer side, but will do the job for your vacation.

Place is basic and quaint. Wifi included and appreciated. No smart tvs for streaming content from smart phone and only one tv. Place needs ceiling fans in each room. Everyone was hot at night in their rooms. (Reviewed on Airbnb)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home! They whole time we kept talking about the wood work. The house is beautiful and spacious. Plenty of room for people to spend time together in the living room or hang out on the deck. Kid friendly and approved by my 17 month old! Great place if you are considering a little family get away. Clean, comfortable furniture, lovely fireplace and grill. The xfinity cable was a HUGE plus, access to Sesame Street and Blues Clues when we needed it!

The house was the perfect size and location for our family vacation. There was plenty of space to spread out. We especially enjoyed the large yard and the deck. Our only challenge was the street that the house is located on. Sloan Tract Road had multiple large pot holes, which made it very difficult to drive to and from the house. Otherwise, we would definitely recommend the house!

The house was lovely. Very big living area but there was a bear trophy head in the bunk bed room. This was a room designed for kids and that scared the daylights out of anyone staying in that room. The road/driveway to the house is very steep and full of potholes. Most of us had 4WD but a few didn't and had difficulty getting up the driveway. The house easily accommodated our big group. It was nice to have a fireplace although we had to go find/buy some dry firewood in order to use the fireplace.

Apologies if you were not aware the home does not offer firewood for the fireplaces; some of our homes do not provide this and we try to display this information throughout the process. We took 5 grandkids to Winter View. It was a late booking. Easy to check in via lock box. The house was well located and very clean. Kids walked in and said " We love it!" We all had fun!

We truly enjoyed our stay. I would recommend to have a later check out time. I was told to call and inquire, but when I did I was told to call back within business hours at 8am the next day. I called the next day at 8:15am and no one answered. Other than that, the home was very homely and accommodating!

We stayed for a rainy weekend in February with 6 adults and 4 kids. We didn't leave the house much, but we still had a blast. We made fires in the wood fireplace, the kids loved the toys and reading books in the "treehouse". All in all this is a wonderful place to stay.
