Home was roomy enough for 8 of us. There are 15 steps from ground floor to main floor and 18 steps from main floor to 3 upstairs bedrooms. The Queen room is TINY - barely enough room to walk between bottom of bed and chest of drawers. Bring your own Coffee Filters b/c none are provided. There were a lot of dead bugs and spider webs (end of October rental) -- better dead than alive, I guess... but I don't know how long prior to our stay the unit was swept/vacuumed. Kitchen and dining area were perfect for us -- very well-stocked with anything we might need (Except coffee filters) Excellent communication before, during, and after the stay.

Even though it rained the whole trip, we still had a BLAST! If work wasn't an issue for some of us we definitely would've stayed an extra day. The house is amazing, very spacious, comfy and cozy. We will definitely choose this place again for anther couples trip.

Our extended family of 9 had a lovely time at the “Wind & Water” property! There was plenty of room for us. We especially enjoyed all the deer, ground hogs, wild turkeys, and a lone fox that routinely came to visit given beautiful surrounding woods and peaceful area.

We love this house - it was our second stay and it's perfect. We are two families of four and there's plenty of room, plenty of privacy and plenty of places for kids to hang out and parents to hang out. Lots of storage for wet clothes and boots. The kitchen is really spacious and the big dining room table allow us to have family dinners together. Everything is clean and new. The neighborhood is terrific and there's plenty of room for kids to play outside safely. The ONLY complaints we could come up with is we recommend new knives for cooking as they're dull and tough to cut with and to doublecheck the door to bathroom in the middle upstairs bedroom as it doesn't close properly. I mean that's it, it's a great place. Thank you for another terrific stay. We will be back!

Loved the house! Very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Only had 1 complaint: house needs normal cable. It was very hard to figure out TVs. Also, needs a Manuel on how to lock doors and work AC, but other than that, we'll definitely stay at Wind & Water again. Railey people were great. Home was well stocked in the kitchen. Our entire family enjoyed the peace n quiet of the neighborhood. Also, love the deep tub. Thanks! We enjoyed an early vacation and would recommend always! Thanks! -Diana

Friendsgiving - Quarantine Edition

We booked Wind & Water for our annual Friendsgiving trip. Though things were different this year, we felt that the house gave each couple ample space to stay and the outside amenities made it easier to enjoy fresh air! The house was very tastefully decorated. The table had plenty of space for us to enjoy laughs and meals. Perfect weekend and we’d stay there again for sure.

This was our first time in this house. The house was fine and appreciated the covered carport area on icy days. The area is quiet and convenient to shops and restaurants. My only complaint is the house is listed as sleeping 10 guests. There are 4 bedrooms and a roll away bed. The roll away bed is old and broken and not usable, they need to purchase a new roll away bed or sofa bed or change the listing. We had 3 children in our group and luckily we had packed sleeping bags, so they slept on the floor. As always, the people who assisted us at the front desk were friendly and helpful. A big thank you to Leslie who always remembers me and goes out of her way to be helpful.

Apologies for the rollaway troubles, Lynn! Please know the sleeping accommodations have been updated to exclude a rollaway bed for future rentals and there is now a queen sleeper sofa at the home. Great Relaxing Weekend

We drove around for an hour to find the house. Directions we received at check in were not accurate. A special Thanks to Brittney who escorted us to the house,however she also had a difficult time finding which one it was as well. There was no Railey sign in yard, as with all the others we have stayed at over the 20 years or so. The house name is in the carport and not visible from the street.The key did not go into the front door lock so that we were able to lock from the outside. I'm sure you have remedied that by now. This did not deter our plans to continue to visit yearly. Again, thank you to Brittney for great customer service.

We place Railey signs whenever we're able to, however some communities do not allow them or have specific guidelines behind their placement and so the houses can occasionally be a little harder to identify.
