    Any home which does not come with any type of designated access to the lake but is located within the lake area. While these homes do not have access to the lake, they potentially offer many other great benefits, such as beautiful mountaintop views, quiet communities, great locations, and more. You can reserve a boat ahead of time at a local marina, or access the lake through the public state park, which offers a sandy beach.
  2. Ski In/Ski Out
    Refers to any home that provides direct access from the house to the slopes of Wisp Resort without driving or crossing a road. The convenience to the slopes in the winter is the best amenity! Some of our homes in the Lake Access and Lake Area categories may also be considered a Ski-In/Ski-Out property.

When the snowy winter weather hits, you’ll love being able to spend the day out on the slopes with direct access to Chairlift #4 at Wisp Resort—just wake up, strap on some gear, and glide up to a selection of slopes for various skill sets. This home’s location on the mountain is perfect for every type of skier from beginners to experts! That said, Top of the Slopes offers a wonderful vantage for action and adventure all year long! Hop in the car for a quick drive to Swallow Falls State Park to explore the highest waterfall in Maryland, head over to the Adventure Sports Center International (ASCI) for a spin through their mountaintop whitewater rafting course, or enjoy any of the many wonderful hiking, golfing, shopping, boating, and dining destinations all around the lake area. ACCESS DETAILS:

This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

Top of the slopes is gorgeous, clean, in a great community, and comfortably fit 3 adult couples and two kids who shared a bed. We enjoyed the hot tub nearly every morning and evening, coffee on the deck (once surprised by a seemingly disinterested black bear), and family dinner at the huge dining room table. Communication was great throughout, and it couldn't be any easier to check in and out.

The place was Immaculate clean worth every penny and more out of the way quiet. Wish we could use it for a Thanksgiving stuff to use a different Railey Vacations property for that.
