    Any property that borders the state-owned ‘buffer strip.’ Lake Front means you have access to the water for swimming and a boat dock if applicable to your home. You can go directly to the water from your door with no road between. Lake Front does not necessarily mean you have a view of the water, since much of our shoreline is wooded.
  2. Ski Area
    Ski Area homes and units are in the direct vicinity of Wisp Resort. Ski Area homes may require you to drive a very short distance and/or cross a road by foot. Some homes under Lake Front, Lake Access or Lake Area may also be considered a Ski Area property.

Who doesn’t love a little bit of Sunshine and Whiski! Located lakefront in Deep Creek Village, this three-level unit is close to a wide variety of activities. In winter enjoy the slopes, shopping, and keeping warm on the cozy sectional in the living room, and in the summer spend your days golfing, hiking, or down by the water! The best of both worlds. Take in the views no matter the season from the main level deck or the ​lower-level patio. Stuck with a rainy day? There are plenty of games to help keep you entertained in the living room! Upstairs, you will find a bedroom suite with a spacious bathroom and a bed that is ohhh so cozy. Enjoy a little extra peace and quiet for some reading time or to get a little work done in the office/sitting room inside the suite. Throughout the home the wood details from the floors to the furniture paired with the thoughtful decor give off a cozy lake cabin feel. On the lower level is another bedroom with private access to the patio and a separate bathroom with a jetted tub - perfect after a day on the slopes or on the water! No matter what your plans are at Deep Creek Lake, Sunshine and Whiski provides modern comfort to your dream vacation

Construction on a retaining wall at Building D is planned to start June 6, 2022 and will take approximately 8 weeks to complete. Please know construction noise is a possibility during your stay, should it fall within this expected construction timeline.

Convenient to slopes

Minimally supplied townhouse but clean and updated. No snow removal was done prior to arrival so could not access or use the balcony and lower level patio. Very close to slopes, which was the primary goal. BYO shovel and firewood.

As mentioned in your booking information, we do not supply paper products, cleaning supplies, food items, or toiletries in the interest of our guests’ safety. We appreciate your understanding of this policy and are happy to know that this did not negatively impact your stay. While we do plow the driveways and entryways for each rental, we do not perform snow removal on balconies or patios unless requested. In the future, please know that you can always give us a call if you need assistance with snow removal. Shovels and salt should be provided at your rental and I have shared your comments with our maintenance team to ensure these supplies are available at Sunshine and Whiski. These townhouses are close to a spot where young children can play safely in the lake under supervision. Added bonuses: Pets can stay; and grocery store is close.

We loved staying here. We stayed for a week, we did work and school from here and activities each afternoon. The internet was fast with no issues. The unit is very, very nice. It is clean and tastefully decorated. It was the perfect size for our family. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. When we were there, there were not many people in the complex and it was quiet. It is right across from Wisp - you can walk over. And, it is well situated for hiking in a variety of locations and other activities. We would definitely go back.
