Quiet Neighborhood

The Pinnacle View Cabin worked well for a family trip, especially as each multi-generational family unit got to have their own bathroom. Overall, the house is situated in a lovely and quiet neighborhood, with great night views of WISP and the Lake. The house and decor could use a bit of updating and some love. One of the recliner chairs was missing a handle. The can opener was dysfunctional. Bedroom blinds were bent and broken. The dishwasher was SO LOUD and ran for hours, even on the lightest cycle. The storm door was broken (looked like the chain had been broken) so the door didn't close (not great with a dog.) Two of the four electric stove burners did not work. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, cookware and other items. With a few updates, this house could be really cozy.

Perfect Fall Getaway Rental!

Pinnacle View was a great rental home. The home is located right next to the Deep Creek Lake State Park and within a short drive of many other state parks and hiking areas. We were only five minutes away from a grocery mart and some great restaurants. The home was very spacious and had a huge yard for those families brining dogs. The kitchen was fully stocked and there was wood available for the fireplace. Would definitely recommend!

Many things were broken when we got there. The fridge had shelves broken off, there were two small holes in the wall, the screen door fell off the hinge every time the door was opened. The switch for the ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom had fallen off. Not as large as advertised. The yard and fire pit were great because the yard was so big so we spend most of our time outside. Cozy place, but just needs some updates and fixes around the house.

Overall our group enjoyed our stay at Pinnacle View! However the property is in need of some cosmetic updates and an overall cleaning. The hot tub really needs to be drained and cleaned as it was green and half full when we arrived. We were disappointed that we couldn’t use it :(. There are also many cobwebs outside and inside the property, so a good dusting and cleaning would be great. Also, the shower in the mater bathroom has no door, just a shower curtain held up by clips. The kitchen was stocked really well and the beds were comfortable. We appreciate everything!!

It was a great home, minutes away from every attraction you could want. Loved the VCR in the basement to watch old movies that made everything feel cozy. The yard was great and the kids loved it.

Our family loves Pinnacle View. It is perfect for our 3 family units. Each of us gets our own floor and the little ones (and big ones!!) have a ball in the big yard. We are so close to the lake (but not too close with little ones), and within easy walking distance of the tennis and basketball courts. We look forward to coming back every year. This was year 5 for us.
