This was the perfect house for a weekend getaway with friends. Lots of space to hang out all together or in smaller groups. We spent a lot of time around the outside fireplace and the horseshoe pit. Everyone in our group raved about what this house had to offer.

Love DCL AND Garrett County. Relaxing atmosphere and low humidity. We have spent a week there seven or eight times and it never disappoints.

Great house. We come up every winter for a long weekend to ski, and figure if we're not going to be ski in/ski out, might as well be lakefront, especially if the lake's frozen for a little pond hockey. This winter's weather squashed the pond hockey, but also meant it was plenty comfortable to enjoy the outdoor fireplace. There's a great fireplace inside too, and we had more than enough room for 3 families with lots of kids. Three of them are still talking about the triple decker bunkbed. This house ranks up there with the best of the many we've rented.

Lovely Weekend at Loch Baile

We had a very nice weekend stay at Loch Baile while in town for a wedding. The house is very homey and comfortable. If I were to make suggestions for improvements I would recommend better lighting, There is not enough lighting for reading or needlework. It was very overcast while we were there and the house was dark even during the day. Another suggestion would be to update the cookware. Lastly, the main floor master bath needs some blinds or shades! Overall it is a wonderful home on a quiet road with a beautiful view.

Hello Loch Baile proved to be a very warm and pleasant experience at Deep Creek. The residence provided a lot of space for the entire family to gather, but also have privacy as needed. Our only disappointment, which has occurred our last consecutive three visits, was not having the pier available. During spring break there is very limited activities for entertainment in the area. The pier provides an opportunity for my family to fish for several hours of entertainment when we visit for this extended week.

Love this house!

So close to the slopes. Plenty of space. Hot tub is under cover for added protection in the frigid temps of 3 degrees this weekend. Little hill on the front yard gives sledding opportunities for the little ones. The dogs loved sniffing around the yard. Space heaters in the room above the garage and basement were perfect! We had a fire in the fireplace and watched movies at night. The kids did crafts at the large breakfast room table and still enough room for some others to eat. We enjoyed the added refrigerator in the garage for overflow. Perfect house!

High school friends celebrating our 60th birthdays at Loch Baile and the weekend was wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the space for reconnecting fabulous. We enjoyed fire side chats, grilling outdoors and prepping meals in the spacious kitchen. The walk to the lake was challenging for a few but doable for everyone at least once a day. The lake view from the dock was spectacular and we enjoyed some kayaking. The only thing missing was some kind of seating at the dock. Spent a few hours exploring the falls at the state park nearby (Swallow Falls). Nice welcome bag with basic necessities. Would have liked firewood to be provided but found some for purchase nearby.

GREAT! Everyone in our group was impressed.

This is probably the best maintained, most spacious, and most comfortable of any of my vacation rentals. The house was spotless, and none of the furnishings looked like they were close to needing replacement. Everything worked flawlessly: kitchen, bathrooms, TVs, A/C, hot tub, grill. More than enough room for 8 adults, 1 infant, and 2 dogs. We used the fire ring once to cook kabobs, and almost every night we enjoyed sitting on the deck with a nice fire in the fireplace. We had kayaks delivered to the dock from the Aquatic Center - super convenient. We left them in the woods near the dock when not in use. The path to/from the dock is a bit steep and rugged, so it could be difficult for some. I'm a fit 68 and it was no problem for me, although the ascent was a bit of a cardio workout. The property was every bit as good as the photos and description. The only minor negative was the Nest thermostat, which seemed to be on a winter program. A couple times per day I had to raise the setting from 67 to 72. Overall, Highly Recommended!

Had a fantastic weekend at Loch Baile. The house was beautiful and located just minutes from Wisp Resort. Love the sports memorabilia! During winter, we suggest bringing road salt because the driveway is quite steep.
