    Any property that borders the state-owned ‘buffer strip.' Lake Front means you have access to the water for swimming and a boat dock if applicable to your home. You can go directly to the water from your door with no road between. Lake Front does not necessarily mean you have a view of the water, since much of our shoreline is wooded.
  2. Ski Area
    Ski Area homes and units are in the direct vicinity of Wisp Resort. Ski Area homes may require you to drive a very short distance and/or cross a road by foot. Some homes under Lake Front, Lake Access or Lake Area may also be considered a Ski Area property.

Needs a new mattress!

This house could definitely use some upkeep. The door knobs on back doors upstairs and down barely worked which made it difficult to get in and out. There are broken floor tiles downstairs and the tile is coming up in one of the downstairs bathrooms. There is no broom or mop in the house. We were also surprised to fine the siding missing from the back of the house. That said, the layout is great for our group and we like the location. We would be willing to overlook the above mentioned items. The biggest problem with this house is the mattress in the downstairs bedroom with the white metal head board. This mattress should have been thrown out 10 years ago. When you lay in the bed your feet and head are significantly higher that your stomach. I am not talking about with a large man, this happens even with a teenager in the bed. There is NO support. The bed turns into a U shape. I expect that the beds in a rental house are not always great, but this bed is the worst we have ever attempted to sleep in.Please replace this mattress! If it were replaced we would definitely consider renting again!

Renovation needed. Upkeep and maintenance lacking.

Very disappointed in the stay. Reno on back of the house was starting and we were not told beforehand about this. Back doors were new but they used existing door knobs so getting outside was a challenge. Junk needs removed from the home. Couldn’t put water in two of the four tubs because no drain stopper. Kitchen faucet sprayer was broke. Air conditioner in master was broke. Cobwebs everywhere. A general very used feeling of the whole house.

-possibly because of the construction but noticed a lot of ants and centipedes. -no broom & dust pan -closet in one bedroom locked, confirmed with Donnie-maint person that it is not supposed to be locked (was only clothes storage for that room). he told me he would send some one to unlock it, told Railey 3x- no one ever came

Great house for large gathering

We enjoyed our stay at Lake Lift Lodge.The house is roomy. It's a great place for a large group of people. We loved the multiple decks and easy access to the lake. The house is located close to Wisp and the commercial areas. The kitchen was well provisioned. The pool table and hot tub also made our stay seem like a real getaway.

The house was very roomy and accommodated well our family of 13. Nice back yard to set up plenty of lawn games for the kids and adults. the private dock was a bonus. Kitchen was large to accommodate several cooks at a time, and was extremely well stocked with all the equipment/supplies you could want. Great deck space, too. Only comment is a lot of the house needs some updating, but was very functional nonetheless.

Been at this house for 7 years now and many good additions this year. Long over due so good job. Nice welcome basket. The ceiling vents in lower unit still not hooked up to flex pipes so no heat coming through then, I looked in ceiling panels seversl yrs ago and still not attached.

The house worked well for our large family. While it is quite dated, everything was working well except for some shower stall & bathtub drainage issues. The gas grill was really dirty and good use a good cleaning inside and out. The location was great; the house was clean and kitchen supplies were sufficient to cook for a large crowd. The welcome gifts, extra soap, TP and paper towels were a pleasant surprise. Thank you. We would rent this house again.
