DESCRIPTION:
Get ready for an ideal getaway! Deep Creek Village #07 is a show-stopper every month of the year! In summer, spend your days exploring the lake by kayak, boat, stand up paddle board or canoe- all available for rent at the many nearby marinas and rental facilities. Come fall, grill out on the home’s back deck, taking in the autumn foliage and crisp mountain breeze. When the snow starts to fall, grab the crew for a day of fun at Wisp Resort for skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, or ice skating. The resort is just a short walk away!  Then, round the year out with spring-time hiking, biking, and picnicking at our state parks and forests! Then, after a long day of incredible adventure, come home to Deep Creek Village #07, to experience the home’s calming ambiance, complete with stone fireplace and sunny kitchen.

Approximately 350 yards to Wisp Lodge Ticket Window and access to all slopes. 
Lake access located directly behind townhomes. No dock use available.

**Due to renovations, the CARC will be closed from March 13th through April 13th. This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

DOG BREED LIMITATIONS: Even in dog-friendly homes, it’s prohibited to bring any dog with a history or instance of aggressive or reactive tendencies. We welcome any dog which you know to be well-socialized, trained, and friendly in any situation involving others, both human and canine, as there may be nearby dogs at neighboring properties. However, due to restrictions in place by homeowner insurance policies, breeds listed as most aggressive are banned from all rentals, regardless of the training and temperament of the individual dog. Beautiful view and great location

Family ski weekend was perfect. Kids were easy to drop off literally across the street and parents returned back home to watch from the living room by the fire. The deck was nice too to watch the sunset over the mountain. Plenty of room and very clean and comfy!

You Get What You Pay For

The house had everything one would need for a ski/lake trip. Nothing in the house looks like it has been updated since the 1990's, but everything is functional, even the tube TV with the VCR player in the lower room. Set your expectations low and you won't be disappointed. Cons: We read from other reviews about there being no blinds and didn't think it would be a big deal, but it was definitely annoying. Recliner doesn't recline properly. Beds, couch and chair were rather uncomfortable. Home hasn't been remodeled in decades. Pros: Location. Deep Creek Village was close as close to Wisp and you could get without staying there. Also close to the lake and the shops and restaurants at McHenry. House also came with access to the pool (which we didn't have time to use) and was available at a reasonable price at late notice.

Great location for skiing

We loved how close the slopes were. Home is outdated and needs some repairs but could be great with a little TLC. Spacious bedrooms with great setup for privacy if multiple families stay.

Love the location, close to Wisp and a coffee shop, etc. Some maintenance issues that have not been fixed since the last time we rented this unit, 1 year ago. Check in sucks because Railey requires you to go to the rental office first to pick up keys, etc, and won't give them out until the check in time. I'm sorry, I should be able to check in to my rental at check in time, I should not have to make an extra stop. For this amount of money, toilet paper/dishwasher soap/hand soap should be included, and the check in/out process should be improved.

You are right across the street from WISP. If that's what you're looking for, you've got it. Pictures are exactly as found. Note that no bathroom is on main/entry level. So if you have guests with problems on stairs, that might be an issue. (Reviewed on Airbnb)

Place was a little older and run down. Recliner broken and handle on microwave was loose/broken and needed attention. Call for maintenance on hand rail and microwave and got excellent service, Thank You for that.

I was nervous about leaving children in downstairs basement that had an outdoor entryway while master suite was on 3rd floor.

This was my family's first time at deep creek lake, and we all loved it! The house was very reasonably priced, close to everything (the lake, the visitor center, the ranch for horseback riding), and cute/cozy! It was a lovely weekend getaway and we will return again next year!

We were not sure of the property we had selected since there were many others that were highly priced than this. We were pleasantly surprised after reaching the property to see it is being well maintained and made available for very reasonable price. the view from the property is excellent. Excellent location.

The place was clean and very convenient. Love that we were able to cook and there is a shopping center less than 5 miles from the place if we needed anything. WISP is within walking distance and loved the mountain views. Bonus we were able to bring our pups.

This was a fantastic rental experience. Upon arrival the home was exceptionally clean! The location was great, the easy walk to wisp and the water access made the location. We enjoyed coffee on the deck each morning with the Mountain View.

Wonderful location! Right across the street from Wisp. We brought our dogs and since it was the off-season, we could walk and play with them on the Wisp grounds. Also right down the street from wonderful bars and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is well kept and the location can't be beat for skiing Wisp which is right across the street. Had it not been so cold, we would have walked to the mountain each day. Given the cold we drove but it was very easy to drive across the street, drop off in front of lodge and hit the slopes. We wish it had a wood-burning fireplace but that is the only thing we didn't love!
