ACCESS DETAILS:

Please Note: The Villages of Wisp is a quiet family-oriented townhouse community located on the WISP ski slopes. Parking spaces are limited to a maximum of TWO (2) vehicles per unit. No exceptions. No trailers, RVs, boats, personal water vessels or buses permitted in the designated parking areas. Failure to abide by this rule may result in towing. Quiet Time begins at 11:00 pm to 8:00 am and includes turning off exterior flood and cafe lights.

Upon arrival, we found hair on the shower walls and towel holder. Property management was quick to have someone clean the bathroom after reporting it. we discovered dirty dishes in the dishwasher, a dirty bbq with used aluminum foil and dirty spatula sitting next to the uncovered bbq. It was obvious that the house was not cleaned prior to our arrival. we discovered that there is only one AC unit in the master bedroom, so the entire house was ungodly hot. Property management was quick to provide loaner fans for the house, but it wasn’t enough for the hot days. The windows open, but don’t have screens. Bugs kept flying into the house. We discovered a wasp nest the size of a pineapple under the front balcony above the kitchen. It was worrisome to us to leave the window open for cross ventilation. We reported it, but property management never came by to spray the enormous nest. The AC was spitting out water onto us every now and then throughout the night. It was low on refrigerant.

Awesome Visit!!

The house itself was well equipped and comfortable. We had our 3 year old with us and she loved the open concept steps (for playing!) and looking out the windows of the breakfast nook. Only downside was that the ski in / ski out wasn’t possible since the nearby run wasn’t open due to lack of snow. That was the main driving factor for us booking the home. Unfortunate for us but no fault of the house. Something to keep in mind though if you are choosing a house specific for this.

Convenient Location, Cozy Common Areas

One adult and three teens stayed at this property for a long ski weekend and greatly appreciated the proximity of the pistes. Even though the Down Under run (about 80 yards from the front door) wasn't open yet, it wasn't much farther to get from the property to the Boulder run (300 yards from front door). The common areas -- specifically the living room w/ wood-burning fireplace and the adjacent dining area -- were very cozy and comfortable. The three teens in our group enjoyed the ground floor room, with a mini-Pacman video game, TV, plenty of seating, double/twin bunk beds, and their own bathroom. All that said, we found the lack of any place to get ski equipment on/off, or for storing ski equipment, a bit inconvenient -- it forced us to track a little more snow into the property than we would have preferred and to get boots on/off wherever possible on the previously mentioned ground floor. Finally, bathrooms and kitchen are a bit dated and could probably use an update, but all was perfectly functional. All considered, I think we'd probably look to stay here again.

We had a great weekend at Bearly Ski. The house is super cozy and perfectly located for ski-in/ski-out. We enjoyed using the fireplace. It had all the kitchen tools we needed. The Wi-Fi was good. We were a small group of 3 adults there for a ski weekend and the house was the perfect size, but there are lots of bunk beds so I think the house would work well for a couple families with kids to use. I would come back for sure!

The house is beautiful but 3 floors is tough on us older folks.

This home looks exactly like the pictures. Very nice, comfy & clean. All your basic kitchen supplies needed to cook were provided & more. Just bring food & drink. We are already planning our next trip. Definitely will be stay again
